Area Meter: Calculate the area of any region
Area Meter is a free Android application that allows you to measure the area of a selected region using GPS. With an internet connection enabled, you can select a few locations to define the region, and the app will automatically calculate the area. The region will be displayed on the map with a red polygon that marks it.
To use the app, simply move to your start position and press the "Start point" button. A marker with your current position will appear on the map. Proceed to your next location and press the "Next point" button to place another marker on the map. You can insert as many markers as you need to define the region. Once you have placed all the markers, press the "Get area" button to get the area calculation result.
Area Meter also has additional features that allow you to adjust the position of the markers using your finger, tap on each marker to see the details, and remove each marker in the marker details window.
